Born and based in Stockholm, Sweden, POC is a safety and performance pioneer on a global mission: protect lives and reduce the consequences of accidents for athletes and anyone inspired to be one. Creating all types of protection for cycling and snow sports, POC uses research, scientific methods and rigorous testing in its pursuit of innovation.

Now we’re looking for a Digital Product Designer.

THE JOB

We are seeking to strengthen our Brand Studio team as we look to deliver a better, more consistent experience across our ecom platform.

You’ll be responsible for the generation of materials that ensure the POC website consistently demonstrates our brand identity and values, while delivering a first-rate customer experience. You will champion user-friendly, inspiring and intuitive digital design systems, as well as generate consistent visual storytelling and graphic outputs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Develop, evaluate and implement POC’s digital design systems, following alignment with the Global Art Director, graphic designers and digital channel owners.
  • Apply design systems in order to maintain a consistent brand appearance across the POC website, newsletters and digital ads.
  • Together with colleagues in the Brand and Digital teams, be part of strategic and physical UX and UI improvements to the POC website.
  • Develop and implement ideas to improve the customer experience on the POC website, and adapt assets to deliver that experience.
  • Together with the merchandising team, design, edit and deliver website assets that work to ensure all POC products are displayed as effectively as possible.
  • Implement POC’s campaign storytelling on the website.
  • Continually test and review (A/B tests, surveys) designs and ideas to improve the customer journey through POC’s owned digital channels, and adjust outputs based on performance analysis.

YOU

  • Understand the principles of UX and UI, and how to integrate them into scalable design systems.
  • Have a great eye for visual storytelling and can combine this with effective user interfaces.
  • Have 1–2 years of experience in conceptual design, and an understanding of user experience and usability, preferably from within ecom.
  • Are as interested in creating website assets as you are in developing design systems.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, UX, UI or similar.
  • Are proficient in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar.
  • Are fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Preferably have skills in HTML5/CSS.
  • Are tech-savvy and willing to try new tools and methods.
  • Understand the principles and methods for displaying, merchandising and selling products online.
  • Are experienced in making your designs implementable and can enable handover to external developers.
  • Have an interest in skiing and/or cycling.
