Sales Representative - Victoria (Australia)

We are a Swedish company with a strong mission to protect lives and reduce the consequences of accidents for athletes and anyone inspired to be one. We are looking for a Sales Representative to grow the POC brand in the state of Victoria with additional travel to Tasmania and South Australia as needed. The position will be situated remotely within Victoria, reporting to the Australia & New Zealand Country Manager (located in Christchurch, NZ).

After going direct to the Australian market in 2021 POC has continued to grow its presence throughout the APAC region and we are now looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join our team and help us to further nurture and expand relationships within POC’s retail partner network and improve the brand presence in Australia in both the Bike and Snow markets.

1. Coordinate sales objectives with AU/NZ Country Manager
2. Establish and build business relationships with existing and new independent Bike and Snow dealers
3. Full ownership of day-to-day management of POC retailers in Victoria
4. Management of your own time between servicing existing accounts and prospecting new ones
5. Work with our retail partners on instore display and product training
6. Lead local marketing and event initiatives
7. Potential foreign travel will be required

5. Deep understanding of Australian Sporting-Goods retail landscape and brand positioning
6. Full Australian Driving License

9. Flexibility for weekly travel within region (c. 70%) and occasional weekends
10. Permanent work rights in Australia

1. Required: 1-2 years of work experience in sales preferably within the sporting goods industry
2. Preferred: 2 years of sales representative experience within the Cycling or Snow Sports industry within Australia
