NEW_ BAROCON CARBON
BUILT FOR A FORCE OF NATURE

CERTIFIED FOR MORE WITHOUT THE WEIGHT
The helmet has been additionally certified to the NA DOT standard for higher speeds and more significant impacts while only weighing 1040g (size M).

Carbon fibre and EPS engineered as one
The EPS liner has been precision-moulded to the carbon fibre shell to provide structural integrity, enhanced protection and a seamless finish.

MULTI-directionAL breakaway peak
The breakaway peak snaps off in a crash to enhance neck protection and reduce injury risk. It can be reattached, provided the helmet is undamaged.

CFD-OPTIMISED
CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) has been used to optimise the helmet's ventilation and aerodynamics at higher speeds.

Innovation for the toughest terrain
The defining feature that differentiates this from our previous helmets and most downhill helmets on the market is that the Barocon Carbon uses an in-mould construction. Rather than bonding a carbon fibre outer shell to an EPS liner with an adhesive, the carbon shell is placed into a tool, which is then filled with EPS so the materials bond directly. This sandwich construction is significantly stronger and more lightweight than traditional downhill helmets.
