Yes – all helmets in the Obex series are designed to integrate seamlessly with the Obex Connect Headset for on-mountain communication.
- The Obex Connect Headset fits directly into the helmet’s ear pads, maintaining a low-profile and stable setup.
- The integration preserves ventilation and comfort, even during all-day wear.
- Ideal for ski instructors, guides, and groups who need reliable communication on the slopes.
The Obex MIPS features a fully adjustable ventilation system for precise airflow control in any condition. Features include:
- Sliding vent covers on top of the helmet can be opened or closed easily with gloves.
- The front intake vents draw in cool air, while rear exhaust channels release warm air to reduce overheating.
- Optimized to minimize goggle fogging by directing airflow over and around the goggles.
- Tip: Open vents fully for climbs or warmer days, and close them partially when skiing in cold or windy conditions.
The Obex MIPS features a lightweight, dial-based size adjustment system for a precise and comfortable fit. The interior size adjustment system spans the circumference of the head, making it easy to find a secure and comfortable fit without needing to change pads. It has been designed to accommodate different head shapes and POC goggle pairings.
To get the right adjustment, you should:
- Rotate the dial at the back of the helmet to tighten or loosen the fit.
- Adjust incrementally until the helmet feels snug but not restrictive.
- Combine with the chin strap adjustment for full stability.
- Tip: Try the helmet with your goggles before adjusting fully.
