Global Social Media Coordinator (Parental Leave Cover)

Passionate about content and culture? We are looking for a creative and trend-savvy Social Media Coordinator focusing on publishing, community engagement, and lightweight content production to join our Global Brand team for an 11-month parental leave cover. In this role, you will be based in Stockholm and run all our social media channels. A strong understanding of cycling and snow culture and a proven experience in creating short-form video content is highly valued.

Born and based in Stockholm, Sweden, POC is a safety and performance pioneer on a global mission: protect lives and reduce the consequences of accidents for athletes and anyone inspired to be one. Creating all types of protection for cycling and snow sports, POC uses research, scientific methods and rigorous testing in its pursuit of innovation.

The Job

In this role, you’ll take ownership of our day-to-day social media presence, with a strong focus on developing and scaling our short-form video output. You’ll plan and publish content independently, while partnering with our creative team to ideate and produce on-brand assets that elevate our storytelling and help grow our organic reach.

Based on our current Social Media strategy, you’ll temporarily cover aspects of the Global Social Media & Community Manager’s responsibilities during a parental leave period, while also adding creative capacity and new ideas to the brand’s content output. The social media platforms POC’s currently working with are Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Strava, LinkedIn and Facebook.

Key Responsibilities

Create social content: Work closely with the creative team to develop social media content and identify relevant formats, ensuring everything feels audience-relevant and aligned with POC’s brand consistency and tone of voice.

Lightweight content production: Proactively capture and produce in-house video content, including behind-the-scenes moments from the office and R&D moments, to support and grow our social media presence.

Publish and schedule: Plan and publish social media content across all platforms, with emphasis on scaling up our short-form video production and post frequency.

Moderate community: Moderate comment sections and broadcast channel.

Analyse performance: Analyse performance and share insights to inform future creative work.

To be successful in this role, you are likely to have:

A solid understanding of the cycling and/or skiing community and its subcultures.

2+ years of experience in social media, content creation or similar roles/internships.

A strong sense of storytelling and visual communication and are used to work in creative teams with clear art direction.

Confidence creating all types of social media content, and are curious to discover new formats.

A collaborative and proactive mindset, comfortable working across teams and time zones.

Are both creative and structured and able to move fast without sacrificing quality.
