Comprising a chest plate and a back plate, the VPD System Torso provides flexible, lightweight chest and back protection for every trail ride. It is constructed without a jacket or vest to enhance comfort and freedom while riding.

The VPD System Torso is highly versatile. The back protector can be used alone, making it ideal for year-round use on the trails or while skiing.

Constructed using a 3D moulding process, the VPD System Torso delivers exceptional impact absorbency certified to EN1621 standards. It is also highly ventilated, helping to ensure that body heat and moisture can easily move away from the body while riding.

VPD material softens with body heat, allowing the protector to provide exceptional freedom of movement. However, in an impact, the material hardens as it absorbs impact forces, keeping you fully protected.

how VPD Works

VPD, or visco-elastic polymer dough, is soft and moves with the body up to the point of impact, where it hards as it absorbs impact energy. Then it softens again so you can carry on.

VPD Structure

The VPD material is structured for flexibility and breathability. Large ventilation holes make it easy for body heat to escape.
