Inspired by her journey to reach new highs climbing Piggtind, a summit in Norway’s Lyngen Alps, the Calyx Carbon Hedvig Wessel Edition balances lightweight, highly durable protection with colours inspired by the powerful and majestic colours of a sunset viewed from the summit.

Fully certified to ski, mountaineering and cycle safety standards, you can use this helmet to take on the whole mountain, just as Hedvig did.

Designed to save as much weight as possible, the helmet features a carbon fibre outer shell, and features like the ear pads and goggle clip are removable, so you can keep weight to an absolute minimum.

The climb/descend ventilation system is effective whether you are slowly progressing upwards or quickly heading down, keeping you cool and comfortable in all conditions.

The helmet is highly packable, and features soft earpads that can either be folded into the helmet or removed completely. The 360° fit system can also be retracted into the helmet to take up less space while being stored.

A neck warmer is also included at purchase, giving you flexibility and freedom in how to wear the helmet.

Carbon fiber outer shell

The carbon fiber outer shell is both highly durable and exceptionally lightweight.

Dual-density Liner

Two densities of EPS liner are used, giving extra protection in the zones where most impacts occur.

360° Fit System

The fit system spans the whole head, making it easy to find a comfortable and secure fit without changing padding.

Retractable Fit System

The fit system can be pushed fully into the helmet so it takes less space when not in use – ideal for storage and transport, or inside or outside a backpack.

Deep ventilation channels

Deeper channels within the helmet improve overall airflow and temperature regulation.

Dual earpad clips

Two attachment clips on each earpad keeps them more secure. The foldable pads are highly flexible and can be folded inwards to make the helmet more packable.

Removable goggle clip

The helmet comes with a rubber goggle clip that can easily be attached or detached.

Neck Warmer

A fleece-lined neck warmer, that could also be worn underneath the helmet, and is in a matching colour to the helmet is included with purchase.
