Knog bike light battery life varies by model and brightness mode. This model can run from 2 hours up to 26 hours depending on light mode.

Battery life is affected by:

  • Higher brightness modes-they provide higher visibility but reduce run time.
  • Eco and flash modes-they extend battery life for longer rides.

The light is optimised for size and visibility and features a wide beam of around 120° so others can see you more easily.

The brightness of the light varies depending on output mode.

This, and most other, Knog bike lights feature integrated USB charging, allowing you to plug the light directly into a USB port without needing extra cables.

How charging works:

  • Built-in USB-A connector removes the need for separate charging cables.
  • Direct plug-in makes charging simple at home, at work or on the go.
  • Sealed design helps maintain water resistance during use.

The charging time of the Knog helmet light is around 3.5 hours.

Charging details:

  • A single red LED displays on the front when the battery is running low.
  • This lamp stays on while the light is charging.
  • When the battery is full, the light goes out.

A rear light on your bike helmet increases your visibility to others. The higher placement on your body, coupled with natural movement, make it easier for drivers and other road users to see you from a distance.

Key benefits:

  • Higher positioning improves visibility above traffic, cars and obstacles.
  • Moves with your body, making your presence more noticeable in motion.
  • Adds a second rear light source to complement a seatpost or bike-mounted light.

When it matters:

  • Urban commuting with traffic and frequent stops.
  • Low-light conditions or night riding.
  • Riding in groups or on busy roads where visibility is critical.
