For fast, flowy, trails; downcountry rides or for when you progress to more technical riding, the Cularis mountain bike helmet series keeps you protected. Designed for comfort and usability, the two models in the series share features and a design ethos that inspires confidence as your riding progresses. Here you can learn about the two helmets’ shared features and differences, and discover which model is right for you.

Why choose the Cularis series?

Both the Cularis and Cularis Pure are made to make your trail rides safer, but are constructed for slightly different styles of rider. Both helmets meet the same tough safety standards; both have extra rotational impact protection, and both offer a comfortable and secure fit thanks to POC’s trusted 360° fit system. Although taking different forms, both helmets offer classic POC safety details like a breakaway helmet peak and extended protection over the temples and around the back of the head.

The Cularis is among our most ventilated trail helmets, offering exceptional airflow through and around the helmet for ultimate comfort and ventilation for pedalling hard, and on fast, flowy trails.

The Cularis Pure is built for simplicity. Scaled back so that it is easy to use from day one, the helmet is unique in offering an interchangeable helmet peak, with one being open for better ventilation and the other covering the vents for more protection from rain and cold winds, making it ideal if you ride in cold and wet climates.
