POC has developed a wearable power manager (PM) and an Android™ application which manages and prioritizes battery usage, powers man-wearable equipment, recharges military batteries, monitors power sources and loads, provides alerts to the warfighter, dynamically adjusts to accommodate the power and data requirements of attached equipment, is fully submersible (to 1 m), and provides data and event logging for mission analysis and planning. POC’s wearable power manager has undergone, successful qualification testing that includes:

  • MIL-STD 461-F: CE101, CE102, RE101, RE102, CS101, CS114, CS115, CS116, RS101, RS103
  • MIL-STD 810G: Operating Requirement – Transport/Storage (non-operating), Operating Requirement – Altitude, Transport (non-operating) – Altitude, Temperature Shock, Humidity, Combined Environmental Effects, Fungus, Mechanical Shock, Transit Shock, Bench Shock, Vibration, Flight Vibration, Blowing Sand and Dust, Blowing rain, Snow and Ice, Salt Water Immersion (1-meter depth), Salt Fog, Explosive Atmosphere.
