The WEARNET system maximizes durability, reliability and survivability and assesses influences that affect performance and operation, such as electrical loading, electromagnetic interference (EMI) (MIL-STD-461), and electrostatic discharge (ESD). WEARNET technology will improve the performance of these systems in harsh environments (MIL-STD-810) and highly diversified, complex, and unexpected situations.The WEARNET system is the backplane connectivity for wearable and mobile applications, including current and future integrated power and data technology. WEARNET will improve the capabilities of any Warfighter or First Responder.

In the near future, POC will offer a power management system that displays device power consumption to the user as well as real-time monitoring of the main power supply. The system also can be integrated with a vehicle or aircraft adaptors to allow for powering/recharging body-worn electronics during mounted operations. POC’s power management system is low-profile, lightweight, and easily integrated into a combatant-worn vest. POC’s power management system is designed to distribute power from a battery, a military vehicle, or an aircraft.

This snap connector, with very low profile, provides universal connectivity.

Mission Equipment Packages (MEPs)

MEPs integrate (install bullhead mounted SNAPNET connector to existing body-worn gear with WEARNET, specialty COMMS, and ISR (Rover data feeds, Wave-Relay, etc.), EW/EA & SIGINT (portable stimulators, personal C-RCIED jammers, etc.)

Flexible PDA Display (SITA™)

An advanced, energy-saving, low-profile, lightweight, flexible PDA with an Android operator system. The flexible display uses E-ink technology.

Intelligent Power Management (MAPPS™)

The MAPPS architecture is low-profile, lightweight, and easily integrated into a combat-worn vest. MAPPS is designed to distribute power from a battery or from a military vehicle. MAPPS comprises four subsystems:

  • Intelligent SNAPNET adaptor cables
  • Universal Power Strip (UPS)
  • Power-Centric-Advanced Conditioning/Monitoring Electronics (PACE)
  • Modular Recharging Unit (MRU)

Wireless Personal Information Carrier (WPIC®)

Wireless (Wi-Fi) or USB back-up interface for wireless electronic records stored on 4GB of memory and protected with Data Encryption - FIPS 140-2. Plug and play your WPIC device into your WEARNET system and have instantaneous access to wired or wireless sensors.
