Overview

Within 4 ms WifireID will detect aircraft fires over a wide area after ignition. The lightweight (3 oz) ZigBee wireless system (2.4GHz) supports a large number of detectors throughout the aircraft. The 360º omnidirectional lens is fast acting with a low false positive response due to multispectral collection and fast microcontroller data processing. The wireless sensor is battery powered and will perform up to one year without replacement.
