POC’s business model is to complete initial research under government and private industry funding, followed by lab feasibility prototype demonstrations, proving functionality and practical commercial usefulness. Currently POC has over $150 million invested in advanced development, spread over 40 technologies. Many of these are ready for commercialization, while others are in various stages of commercial readiness. POC has a growing patent portfolio with 92 U.S. issued patents and many more pending. In the commercialization/production phase, these core technologies are matured with the participation of OEM and government customers, building production capability and sourcing to select vendors and suppliers.

Our far reaching core technologies, and patent portfolio enables POC to take an active role in it’s own commercial production and marketing to both commercial OEMs and government customers. Further, this technology base will continue to create licensing, spin-off, joint venture, and corporate/government alliance opportunities. OEM Purchased Products
POC has developed several products over the past few years, and has sought to work with OEM customers to determine their needs and specifications. Often we design, manufacture and deliver products to meet customer specifications.

Licensing
Currently POC has seven (7) licensing agreements in place, which include agreements for the production of LCD backlights, automotive lighting components, and full color LCD cell phone displays.

Phase III
Based on the company’s 40 technologies and our patent position, POC will seek both government and commercially funded production business. POC is looking to develop and build more government and OEM business, and to build corporate alliances.

Spin-off / Ventures
POC has launched Six (6) spin-off companies over the past seven years, and will continue to be active in creating mores spin-off companies and entering joint ventures.
